I've been using Mozilla- Thunderbird email for about a week now. I've used Outlook exclusively for more years than I can recall so I wasn't sure if I would like using a new email client. I just like to read answer and file I don't typically use many Outlook features outside of work so it works fairly well for what I do from home.

Configuring Thunderbird for my existing email account wasn't to difficult and I was reviving email within a few minutes of starting. It responds quickly but I still need to use it more before deciding if I'll stick with it.

Busy week i didn't get to work with the new system much. I'm starting to manage all my email with Thunderbird this week.

I've liked Ubuntu enough that I decide to install  on a system somewhat newer syste. I installed it on a PC that was running Windows 7 Pro. I'll be using this for everything for the next months. Except for one game.

I burned the install image to a disk this time and did a clean install on the syetm. It was very simple. So far so good.
